MDIAI is the Mississippi Division of the International Association for Identification.
Our mission is to encourage the enlargement and improvement of the science of forensic identification and crime detection. This is accomplished through the cooperation of individuals who are actively engaged in forensic identification, investigation, scientific examination of physical evidence, and the criminal justice system. We encourage research, education, and training in scientific crime detection.
Members include police officers, sheriff's deputies, detectives, firearms examiners, investigators, coroners, medical examiners, latent print examiners, accident reconstructionists, questioned document examiners, crime scene analysts, photographers, security personnel, training officers, identification specialists, serologists, trace analysts, arson investigators, composite artists, probation officers, toxicologists, and others engaged in similar fields.
